On Sunday November 29, 2009 at 1620 hrs Hawthorne FD was dispatched for MVA with Extrication at 40 Saw Mill Rv.Rd. across from Wendy's Restaurant. Units operating 2191, 2192, 2193, E155, 63B1, 63B2, Elmsford FD Ambulance, 37M1, 37M2, MPPD, WCPD.

Weather Conditions: Clear and mild at dusk

Upon arrival of the 2191, he found he had a two car mva with several patients and that extrication was needed. 2191 advised E155 crew what was needed prior to arrival. Once E155 was on scene crews were able to remove the driver side door with the Hurst Tool and the patients was removed from the car by EMS. elmsford FD was notified for a mutual aid ambulance. In all 5 patients were transported to the hospital.

Units were on scene for about 1.5 hrs.
